半年ぶりのことわざ英語、今月は「サ行」です。以下に記載したものだけでなく、他の言い回しもたくさんありますが、ああ～なるほどなあ～と思わせられるような文化の違いが多少表れるのも面白いなあと思いました。ぐぐっと身にしみることわざも・・・。
歳月人を待たず Time and tide wait for no man.
先んずれば人を制せいす = 攻撃は最大の 防御 Offense is the best defense.

三度目の正直 The third time lucky/The third time pays for all/All things thrive at thrice
