Gasparilla
Children’s Parade & “Piratechnic” Extravaganza
Mateys of all ages jump and shout for beads as over 100 parade
floats make their way down Tampa Bay’s Bayshore Boulevard. Since 1947,
families, friends and neighbors bring their own krewes out to take in
Gasparilla’s Children’s Parade.

Gasparilla Invasion
Behold the world’s only fully-equipped pirate ship, Tampa Bay’s
own Jose Gasparilla, as it charges boldly through the Hillsborough Bay and
toward Tampa..

appetite. Slake your thirst at the annual Gasparilla Invasion Brunch at the
Tampa Convention Center’s

Gasparilla Parade of the Pirates
presented by Ye Mystic Krewe of Gasparilla
The city of Tampa conquered by Ye Mystic Krewe of Gasparilla,
belly satisfied and full, get ready to party down pirate-style at the Parade of
Pirates. Beginning at Bay to Bay Blvd., and Bayshore Blvd., the parade snakes
down east to Brorein St., then turns north on Ashley Drive, ending at Cass St.
and Ashley Drive.

Gasparilla Pirate Fest Street
Festival
As evening falls upon Downtown Tampa, the city’s streets will
with Gasparilla’s Pirate Fest Street Festival. Debauchery awaits along Ashley
Drive from Kennedy Blvd., to Cass St.

Sant’Yago Illuminated Knight Parade
Over 100,000 come out every year for a parade into the night.
Following Ye Mystic Krewe of Gasparilla’s Tampa Bay takeover of, the Knight
Parade (presented by MOR) has been presented by the Knights of Sant’Yago since
1974.

Gasparilla Distance Classic
Come
out to Tampa Bay and test your endurance at the Gasparilla Distance Classic.
Surrounded by the area’s beautiful weather (yep, it’s paradise), every stride
you make at the race benefits charitable youth organizations across the Tampa
Bay area. And since 1978, the Gasparilla Distance Classic Association has
donated $3.9 million to the Boys & Girls Clubs of Tampa, Girls Inc. of
Pinellas, The Friends of Tampa Parks & Recreation and youth running related
programs.
